Ali & Rob He's the best person I know. We met on January 18th, 2007. Call it chance, fate, luck, whatever you want, but the odds weren't likely. I was in town visiting my brother, who returned home from the Air Force that day. Although he had an interview the next morning, his buddy (eventually) convinced to be his designated driver. We locked eyes immediately and he knew "he wasn't leaving without talking to me first". He did. We talked over pizza and bluegrass for the next four hours, but we could have talked for days. I called my sister on the way home, "I met my husband tonight" I said. I said yes on Lover's Beach (Land's End) in Cabo, three years later. Surprised was an understatement. I had never cried from happiness before. I balled. Growing up I was never one to dream of that fairy tale wedding. No dress, no church, no diamonds. What I did envision was my groom. It was always about the groom. Tall, dark and handsome. Bonus points for the beard!
